Yoga Sadhana Camps
Immerse yourself in the basics of yoga. Ideal for those new to yoga or those who wish to make sure they are well aligned in their asana and pranayama practice, this course is a step-by-step complete introduction to the basics of yoga.
The course offers extensive guided practice as well as theory studies and follows the five points of yoga created by Swami Vishnudevananda for health and inner peace:
• Proper Exercise – Yoga asana
• Proper Breathing - Pranayama
• Proper Relaxation - Savasana
• Proper Diet - Vegatarianism
• Positive Thinking and Meditation – Vedanta & Dhyana
The Yoga Sadhana camp is open to all beginner students who wish to deepen their knowledge and application of some of the teachings of yoga. Participants do not need to be a yoga teacher.
Aspirants of advanced levels are very welcome to attend the advanced hatha yoga classes provided at the same time, as part of the course. Families with children are always welcome at the Yoga Sadhana Camps. Parents are expected to provide supervision for their children
Minimum number of stay required is one week - to attend the full course.
If one is interested to stay in the ashram for more than a week, please enquire the possibility / availability of space.
Yoga Sadhana Camp is conducted only at the location in Kodakkad, Kasaragod Dist, Kerala
from Oct 1 2017 onwards.

Arrive on a Sunday. Camp starts every Monday and finishes on every Saturday. Next Sunday is the day of departure. Those who like to arrive or depart on different days may check the availability and get the rooms booked accordingly.

Please download the application form, print it, fill all the required information, scan it and then send the completed application form to sivanandapeetham@gmail.com . Once the filled up application form is received and accepted the applicants will be informed of how to remit the deposit payment.
To finish the formality of registration one has to send a non-refundable donation for minimum 3 days’ stay.
Please note:
The balance of the course donation should be remitted on the day of joining. Course donations are non-refundable, however any unused amount may be transferred, minus an administration fee, to another course within one year of the original course starting date. Or a credit note may be issued minus the administration fee. Credit notes are valid for one year from date of issue and can be used for any other courses/ programs or for anybody recommended by the depositor and also for boutique items or any other supplementary services.
General Information
Please read course details as well as the course location information carefully before making a decision to register.
Admission to any course is on first come first serve basis.
All the courses are taught in English, there is currently no translation facility available into any other language.
Students should plan to arrive at least one day prior to the beginning of the course ( arrival time is Sunday after 3 pm ) and depart at least one day after its completion ( departure time is next Sunday latest by 11 am )

For all programs, guests are subject to the suggested donation in effect at the time of final payment.
To maintain the spiritual atmosphere we ask all ashram guests to comply with the ashram rules.
